Factors such as aging, genetic predisposition, rapid weight gain or loss, or decreased skin elasticity can cause sagging and stretch marks in the arm area. These sagging areas, particularly on the inner upper arm, can be aesthetically bothersome and prevent individuals from feeling confident in their clothing choices.

Arm lift surgery (brachioplasty) involves surgically removing excess skin and sagging tissue to achieve a firmer and more streamlined arm profile. If necessary, liposuction (fat removal) can be performed before or during the procedure to further improve the contour.

The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia and is tailored to the patient's needs. Incisions are placed on the inner surface of the arm or along the armpit line to minimize their visibility. During the healing process, wearing a special medical garment (corset) for several weeks is recommended to reduce swelling and allow the arm contour to fully settle.
