Facelift

Due to aging and gravity, deep lines, sagging skin, and volume loss can occur on our faces over time. It is possible to reverse these changes and achieve a younger, more vibrant appearance. A facelift is an effective and permanent solution against the signs of aging on your face.

What is a facelift?

A facelift surgical procedure corrects age-related skin sagging, looseness, and loss of contour in the face and neck area. It typically targets sagging in the jawline, cheeks, and neck. During the operation, not only the skin but also the underlying muscles and connective tissues are reshaped, resulting in more natural and long-lasting results.

A Touch of Youth with Fat Injection

In a facelift, if needed, the patient's own fat tissue is used to restore volume to areas of the face that have lost volume—especially the cheeks and around the lips. This method enhances facial expression while providing a youthful and healthy appearance.

Surgery Process and Recovery

The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia and takes a few hours on average. Temporary swelling and bruising may occur after the procedure; these effects usually subside within a few weeks. Full recovery, however, varies from person to person but takes between 6 and 12 months.

Who is it suitable for?

While facelift surgery is most commonly performed on individuals aged 50 and older, it may also be a suitable option for younger people if signs of aging begin earlier. The following are particularly common reasons for surgery:

  • Significant sagging in the face and neck.
  • The jawline becomes less defined.
  • Volume loss in the cheeks
  • Decreased skin elasticity
